GEORGIA PROMISE SCHOLARSHIPS
&
SPCCS TUITION ASSISTANCE
Paying for an SPCCS Education is a Partnership
Because our financial aid resources are limited and many families need assistance, SPCCS encourages families to apply for all scholarships and outside funding for which they may qualify. This helps us stretch our mission resources to serve as many children as possible.
Many students in K5 - 12 grade may qualify for the Georgia Promise Scholarship.
This State of Georgia scholarship may provide up to $6,500 per child per year towards tuition.
PreK4 families with students moving to K5: For many families, this scholarship may provide MORE assistance than SPCCS can provide directly.
GEORGIA PROMISE SCHOLARSHIPS - DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY
For many families, the Georgia Promise Scholarship is a once-in-a-school-career opportunity to secure up to $6,500 per year toward tuition.
If your child is currently eligible, it is important to apply during the State's application window.
Families who choose not to apply, miss application deadlines, or enroll in private school without first securing eligibility may not have another opportunity to access this funding later.
If you are considering enrolling your child at SPCCS, please contact us BEFORE making enrollment decisions if you have questions about Georgia Promise eligibility.
Do not assume you can apply later.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND
The Georgia Promise Scholarship is a STATE program — NOT an SPCCS program.
Parents/GUARDIANS MUST:
complete the application themselves,
manage their own state scholarship account,
and authorize scholarship payments to SPCCS.
SPCCS CANNOT:
apply for families,
access parent state accounts,
authorize payments for parents,
or speak to the State of Georgia about parent applications.
However, SPCCS staff ARE happy to:
answer questions,
sit with families,
explain the process,
and help parents complete applications.
Please do NOT wait until the last minute.
Application problems and denials often take time to fix.
* PAYING FOR SCHOOL IS A PARTNERSHIP
SPCCS considers all outside resources available to families when determining institutional tuition assistance.
If a family is eligible for the Georgia Promise Scholarship, SPCCS expects families to apply as part of the shared partnership that makes affordable Catholic education possible for all families.
Because:
Georgia Promise and GOAL Scholarships cannot be combined,
other donor-funded tuition assistance is limited,
SPCCS may adjust institutional tuition assistance based on available scholarship funding and outside resources.
Our goal is to help as many children as possible access an SPCCS education.
